Addressing recent issues with the website and API
-
According to your site, the only new movies added in Canada in the past week are Netflix movies. While this could be true, it seems unlikely, as they usually also add several non-Netflix movies as well. I've noticed a number of glitches in the search results on your site for a few weeks now; was hoping they would get resolved, but also realizing you are dealing with a bunch of countries and may not be aware of what is happening to the Canada results, so thought I would post here.
I watched a movie called Buffaloed last week that doesn't show up at all on your site. I tried adding it, but pasting the link in the box for a link gave an error message so I don't know....

I use this site to check up on new and expiring titles for southeast asia region, like Thailand and Singapore, but these 2 countries haven't updated in about week. Not even Netflix titles are showing up added. Could this be fixed?

uruguay?

We are currently re-working how we collect information on titles in response to Netflix cracking down on VPN's.... Thailand and Singapore should be up and reporting over the next couple days.
-
Thank you for the response. While Thailand recent 7-day new updates seem accurate enough, I believe there is something wrong with Singapore's. Although a thousand over titles has been re-indexed on 28th Nov, there are many, many, titles showing up on UNOGS but don't really exist for the Singapore catalogue, while titles that are in actual fact there are not showing up on UNOGS. It is completely inaccurate.
Hopefully this can be resolved soon.

I think you are aware that the API is not updating shows for the UK. Because of that we have incurred in API costs, making more requests than necessary thinking it was something we were doing wrong.
-
The uk is being updated... but we did have a few days earlier in the week where it wasn't... Regardless, I'm not sure why that would cause you to incur charges???
-
For SG how are you determining the validity of the data? Can you supply some examples of titles that should be there that aren't and ones that are that shouldn't?
-
@admin " I'm not sure why that would cause you to incur charges???", because we knew there were new programmes and they weren't appearing, so we did more requests to see if something went wrong causing the account to go over the 100 limit, just that. Those that appear listed under UK weren't there this morning, hopefully our system will pick it up tomorrow.

Is there a problem with Spain? Almost all movies in the expiring list are not in Netflix...

@admin
I am not technically inclined, I am just a mere user of the site residing in SG, so I don't need to access Netflix SG with VPN, I use just a direct connection.To determine the validity of the title, I simply try to access the tiles from the UNOGS page's "watch now" button, and if the title is not available here in SG, it brings up an error page like this, https://imgur.com/Jri1ZdI
As for examples, most of the tiles that show up under the "new videos (last 7 days)" search will bring up that error. A concrete example is "28 Days", https://unogs.com/title/60000880
I am quoting these because they are just sitting there on the front page whenever I access the SG tab for new videos added.Another example is this, https://unogs.com/title/80116762
This title actually left SG a month or 2 back, but since the refresh on 28th Nov, is now listed on UNOGS as available, when it actually isn't.Examples of videos that are indeed available but aren't showing up on this site include "MIB International", seen here, https://unogs.com/title/81057361
Incidentally it is expiring in a few days time on the 4th, but don't show up as available for SG, nor on SG's expiring titles tab, although they do for HK and Thailand, which I now rely on as these 3 countries' available titles are very similar. -
can you go this website and share the results with me?

South Korea Is not supported anymore?
-
not currently, we are working on a solution

@admin thx a lot!! I eagerly than your support anything else I have.

@admin
I visited the link as requested and it simply states "Singapore", and nothing more. As per this screenshot, https://imgur.com/CqttYvj -
very strange, i have tried several different residential addresses in Singapore and they all give me the same results.

My knowledge about accessing Netflix via VPN is limited, so I can't comment any more about that, but, as an experiment, I went through the new titles added to SG within the last 7 days (added since 28th Nov), and noticed that they all had one thing in common: they were all indexed as also available in the U.S. catalog.
Of course there are going to be titles common to both countries, especially ones which Netflix has global licenses for, and while I can't claim to have checked every single one of these newly added titles, it does seem that every title I have tried accessing from UNOGS that is not truly viewable here in Singapore does show up as available in the U.S.
Most telling is The Office (U.S.) series, known for being available only on Netflix US and Canada, is showing up on this site as available for SG (and several other countries), https://unogs.com/title/70136120
Another is Dexter, which I believe is also not available on Netflix outside of U.S., but showing up on UNOGS as available in several countries, https://unogs.com/title/70136126My theory is, for some reason, the titles recently added to SG (and perhaps even the other countries that seemingly share the above 2 titles I quoted as examples) are actually pulled from the U.S. catalog. Perhaps this may be an issue to do with the VPN provider's servers, but this is just my wild guess as I earlier admitted, I know very little about the workings of VPNs.
Sorry for the wall of text.
