      Why is this necessary?
Over the last few weeks Netflix have been making some major changes which as most of you know have caused uNoGS a variety of issues. Lately they have been purposely holding back titles when users browse from outside their origin country. We are still working out what they are doing but this necessitates some community involvement to make sure that our information is as accurate as possible.

      How does it work?
Users can no click on an 'Add Missing Titles' button at the top of the uNoGS web page. Clicking this, will present you with a form which you can then submit missing titles to our database. Our scrapers will then add these titles to our checks and add them to the appropriate country assuming they are actually missing.

What are the different formats I can use to add Titles?
On the website we have a text area which will allow users to add free form text. The 2 formats we support are a comma separated list of netflix IDs or a simple list (this list includes any text which ends with '/<netflixid>'.

      comma separated list:
      0_1589735934946_Screenshot 2020-05-17 at 18.07.07.png

      list of lnks:
      0_1589735877607_Screenshot 2020-05-17 at 18.06.42.png

In addition to the webpage we have an open endpoint which users can simply POST properly formatted JSON to.

Link to POST data to: https://unogs.com/api/submitmissing
      JSON format: {"netflixID":"<id>","countryCode":"<2 letter country code>","user":"<username>"}

What incentives do I have to do this?
The first major incentive is that if everyone does this the world will have access to an incredibly accurate list of Netflix titles which will overcome the current issues of folks logging in over VPN and not seeing everything via the Netflix search.

In addition, we are looking at providing free Pro access to both of our API's for those people who consistently submit valid missing titles. We are still working out what exactly this means but we will make an announcement when we have the details worked out.

How do I make sure I get credit for the titles that I submit?
You can do this 3 different ways:
1 Create an account on our forum use that username when submitting
2 Use your already existing rapid API username
3 Send us an email with the username you plan to use

As we come up with more details we will updated this forum post.

      Thanks
      -Admin

You are free to add missing titles without a user, its only if. you want to. take credit for what you add.

That doesn't mean the total of videos will be decreased only when the titles will expire?

I'm sorry if I sound harsh but the main reason why I have subscribed to your API has been to avoid doing manual work like this

The idea is that 'you' just don't do it.. if everyone chips in we will have a comprehensive list

@admin This sounds good in theory but doesn't this defeat the original purpose of uNoGS as the most accurate provider for Netflix data? Won't the publication dates etc be incorrect unless the users are super active in adding missing titles?

its 1 thing that we are doing, and don't you think its better to have them late than never?

@admin Sure if the data is even remotely accurate. There's really no reason to use the API for my purposes without accurate enough data

@admin In Argentina had an advance in adding titles in the last 48 hours, however, Mexico and Brazil are delayed, so must have added titles available in said countries, because have the most the titles (e.g. Mexico currently has 4,704 and has 4,680 titles when is selected "and" with Argentina) giving a result of 99.5% and in Brazil, Mexico has 4,368 counnting in both countries, giving a result of 92.9%.

The 'hiding of country specific titles' seems to be the latest thing to trip 'proxy/vpn' errors. Looks like any content outside your home country, now has a huge chance to trip that error - even in situations where it used to work a few weeks back. Not good for the Netflix VPN scene possibly!!

This isn't working. Here's a selection of some countries with less than 8 new releases within the last 7 days:

                              Brazil: 8
                              Germany: 8
                              Greece: 8
                              Hong Kong: 8
                              Iceland: 8
                              India: 9
                              Italy: 8
                              Japan: 8
                              Netherlands: 8
                              Poland: 8

When compared to some of your competitors, this is less than 1/3 of all the releases.

We are working on something that will require minimal participation on the part of some trusted users, hopefully we will have something to announce by the end of the weekend

In Mexico, looks like only adds new releases (the most of these are Netflix originals) and as I said the most of titles adds simultaneously in comparison of spanish countries (Argentina) and Brazil

In which country is Elementary missing?
What do you find confusing about "add missing titles"

                                        • enter username (optional)
                                        • select country you are in
                                        • add title id or list of title id's

Can't get submit to work. Love this helpful site, been using new VPN w/ Netflix for a few days, A big one you may want to add is:

Saw "Family Guy" Animated US series on the UK site. UNOGS shows no results.

Can you update your database to include Cuties in Canada & the US. I'd do it but I have no idea what a Netflix ID is. Your add missing titles thingy says it accepts links but spat this link back. https://unogs.com/title/81111198
